Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own faith community, and spreads to the greater community, towns and cities. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as being an usher/greeter, helping to collect food for those in need and the Local Food Pantry, or as involved as leading our youth with Religious Education or ministering to the homebound and sick.

Music

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.  We are always looking for more volunteers to enhance our services.

Ushers & Greeters

The ushers and Greeters at our church fill an important role. They are the first to welcome you and are involved in directing attendees to their seats, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The ushers & Greeters are a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Religious Education

Religious Education is a vital element of teaching our faith to all God’s Children.  This builds a faith foundation for the rest of their lives.  Religious Education classes run from October through May and meet immediately following our 4:00 P.M. mass on Saturdays.  These are FUN, Christian learning based classes, that focus on age appropriate teachings.   Teaching our children is a rewarding, faith filled and fun way to get involved.

Media & Technology

We do not post our weekly sermons on the website as we feel that individuals will get the most benefit by attending mass, listening to the scripture lessons of the day and then be attentive as our Presider Father enlightens the meaning of the lessons with a well prepared homily.  However, we will record mass for homebound or ill.  We do maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication.
